The CHS Rotary Student of the Month for December was Ryan Williamson. Each month a student is chosen for this honor based on academic achievement, leadership, and citizenship.
Thanks to a generous grant, the Chatham Middle School fifth grade attended a wonderful performance of Madeline's Christmas at the Harwich Junior Theater, based on the favorite childhood book by Ludwig Bemelmans.
Mrs. Gaylene Heppe, Principal of Chatham Elementary School, asked the School Committee to accept a gift on behalf of the Elementary School. A Bushnell telescope was donated by Mr. Gene Dunne, a local resident of Chatham. The telescope is in excellent condition and will be used for the newly formed Astronomy Club.
